Tracking the evolution of financial institutions

Brilliant question – "What happens when the Online Generation replaces the boomer generation in the workplace?"

I must say, Shel has captured in a simple question, the key strategic issue we all face, no matter whether we are aged 55 or 25. It will be an evolution, but the pace of that shift may surprise us.

What happens when the Online Generation replaces the boomer generation in the workplace?

  1. Banks are going to be long term holdouts on this trend IMHO. There are alot of entrenched old-timers, especially with the larger banks and their product silos. Lots of places to hide and live out the last days.

  2. I agree Jay. This however, means those holdout Banks will suffer IMHO.
